US imposes export controls on 42 Chinese companies over military support for Russia

The US Department of Commerce has added 42 Chinese companies to its export control list in connection with military support for Russia.

Reuters reported this.

The companies supply microelectronics that Russia uses for precision guidance systems in missiles and drones.

Seven other companies from Finland, Germany, India, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom have also been added to the export control list.

It will be recalled that in September, the United States imposed sanctions on Chinese companies that facilitated the production, purchase, and maintenance of Iranian drones.
