The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced the start of the "Grain from Ukraine" international program

The program aims to provide grain to poor countries in Africa and Asia. Within its borders, participating countries will purchase Ukrainian grain for export and transfer it to countries on the brink of famine.

The Office of the President believes that the program will provide international support to the Ukrainian agricultural industry, protect cultivated areas, support production, strengthen supply chains, and find international clients who can guarantee the purchase of Ukrainian agricultural products.

In addition, the Office of the President says that "Grain from Ukraine" is a winning strategy for Ukrainian partners — they simultaneously support the Ukrainian economy in a difficult situation and help poor African countries.
