On May 25, the European Council extended the "economic visa-free regime" with Ukraine until June 2024. Ukrainian businesses will not pay any duties, quotas or trade defence measures on Ukrainian exports to the EU - Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and the European Council
"We are grateful to our European partners for the decision that will help Ukrainian business and the Ukrainian economy in the extremely difficult military conditions," Shmyhal wrote.
The Council noted that the EU demonstrates its unwavering political and economic support for Ukraine, and the extension of the "economic visa-free regime" will help Ukraine maintain stable trade relations with the EU and support the economy in difficult conditions.
