~Russia illegally detains 25,000 Kremlin prisoners
According to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, this is the number of civilians abducted by the Russian Federation.
The ZMINA Human Rights Centre has found that at least 21 prisoners require urgent medical care and may die unless they receive it.
During the full-scale invasion, the National Police began investigating the enforced disappearance of 8,800 people. Russian Children's Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova claims Russia has illegally abducted over 700,000 children from Ukraine.
The Media Initiative for Human Rights has identified about one hundred places where abducted civilians are held.
The Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Qırım confirms 186 illegally imprisoned Ukrainian citizens, 60% of whom are Qırımtatarlar.
During the full-scale war, 2,576 Ukrainian citizens were returned to Ukraine, including 144 civilians.
An ambulance was called to the prison in Vladimir for Osman Seitumerov, convicted by Russia
The defendant in the so-called "Third Bağçasaray group, Hizb ut-Tahrir" Seitumerov, has developed gastritis in captivity.
The Kremlin prisoner's mother, Lilia Seitumerova, told Crimean Solidarity about it.
"Osman felt unwell in the middle of the night. After the doctors arrived, he was prescribed medication — now he feels better," the woman said.
Seitumerova said her son was held in a five-by-four-metre cell with five prisoners. Six days a week, the prisoner works in a workshop.
Russians detained him on March 11, 2020, in the temporarily occupied Bağçasaray. At that time, his brother Seitumer Seitumerov, uncle Rustem Seitmemetov and Amet Suleimanov were also detained during searches.
In October 2021, the Qirimtatarlar were sentenced to 14, 17, 13 and 12 years, respectively, in a maximum security colony for alleged involvement in the Hizb ut-Tahrir organisation.
The organisation has been recognised as a 'terrorist' one in the Russian Federation. The legislation of Ukraine and other countries does not prohibit this political organisation.
Six detainees from the so-called 'Second Canköy group' were transferred to a pre-trial detention centre in Rostov-on-Don
These are Khalil Mambetov, Refat Seidametov, Ekrem Krosh, Aider Asanov, Osman Abdurazakov and Leman Zekeriaiev, detained in January 2023.
Their wives reported this to the Crimean Solidarity.
Osman Abdurazakov's wife, Zera, said she could not see her husband while he was in Aqmescit.
Khalil Mambetov's daughter said that her husband suffered from osteoarthritis.
The Qirimtatarlar had been detained in Aqmescit detention centre No. 2 on charges related to the Hizb ut-Tahrir case.
Russians do not hand over letters to Kyrylo Barannyk, detained in the Aqmescit detention centre
The Avtozak LIVE human rights initiative reported this.
"Since August 28, the participants of our project have sent several letters with neutral content to the Aqmescit Detention Centre No. 2. On September 1, we received a message from Kyrylo himself that there were no letters," the statement reads.
Later, Barannyk's lawyer confirmed there were no letters.
It will be recalled that Kyrylo Barannyk is a Master of Sports in orienteering. He was detained in May 2023 in the temporarily occupied Aqmescit.
During his first interrogation, he immediately admitted he was involved in damaging the railway tracks near Poshtove. It happened on February 24. The Atesh guerrilla movement claimed responsibility for the sabotage.
After that, the Russians began to torture the prisoner with electricity and demanded that Barannyk confess to other acts of sabotage.
The European Court of Human Rights will consider the appeal on the abduction of Oleksii Kyselov by Russians
The CrimeaSOS initiative reported this.
"The case of Oleksii Kyselov is the first of all known cases demonstrating the persecution by the Russian authorities of Qirim's residents who left the occupied territory after 2014," said lawyer Serhii Zaiets.
"CrimeaSOS filed a complaint with the ECHR in November 2022. The ECHR has recorded cases of torture, illegal deprivation of liberty, searches and property theft against Kyselov.
"It is likely that in the future, we will also be able to talk about violations of the right to a fair trial," Zaiets added.
Oleksii Kyselov is a former captain of the Ukrainian reconnaissance ship Slavutych. Russians abducted him in Henichesk, Kherson region, and took him to Qirim on July 22, 2022.
Kyselov was charged with alleged involvement in the Noman Çelebicihan Battalion and sentenced to 8.5 years.
The so-called "court" of the temporarily occupied Donetsk illegally sentenced the prisoners of war of the Azov fighters
These are Ruslan Kolodiazhnyi, Mykhailo Chystopliasov, Ivan Bochkarov and Dmytro Kanuper. They were sentenced to 26, 22 and 29 years respectively.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported this.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Mikhail Chystopliasov disappeared in Mariupol on February 24, 2022, while Kolodiazhnyi and Bochkarov disappeared in May 2022.
It will be recalled that in the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Luhansk, a so-called 'court' sentenced Sakhil Alakhverdiiev, Kostiantyn Sychak, Oleksandr Slobodianiuk and Oleksii Borysenko to more than 15 years in prison.
