Mark Milley: DPRK's alleged supply of artillery ammunition to Russia will not be 'decisive'

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Army said that the DPRK's assistance to Russia would not likely make a big difference.

He said this during a briefing with journalists, AP reports.

It is likely that after the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, North Korea will provide Russia with Soviet-era 152mm artillery shells.

“Would it have a huge difference? I’m skeptical of that,” said General Mark Milley.

Kim Jong Un met with the Russian President on September  13 in Vladivostok, Russia. They discussed further military cooperation between the two countries.

It will be recalled that US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that the US government is concerned about the deepening military cooperation between Russia and the DPRK.
