Russians killed 4 civilians in Donetsk region, including 3 Red Cross representatives

On September 13, Russia launched 26 Shahed combat drones at Ukrainian cities. As a result of the air battle, Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces downed 24 enemy combat UAVs in the Mykolaiv, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

In the Donetsk region, located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine and partially occupied since 2014, the Russians shelled Hirnyk, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Kurakhivka, Shevchenko, Brusivka, Viroliubivka, Krasnoiarske and Sukha Balka. Artillery and guided bombs killed one civilian in Krasnoiarske and three representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Viroliubivka. Another 10 civilians were injured, including a child in Sukha Balka. The shelling damaged or destroyed residential buildings, outbuildings, critical infrastructure and vehicles, including three Red Cross humanitarian mission vehicles.

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians shelled Kharkiv and the communities of Kupiansk, Kurylivka, Borivske, Derhachiv, Vovchansk and Zolochiv with artillery, aircraft and drones. As a result of the attacks, 4 civilians were killed in the village of Borovа. Nineteen others were injured in the region, including one child. A shop, private houses, outbuildings, garages, civilian buildings, a farm and vehicles were destroyed.

In the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, Russia shelled Kherson, Antonivka, Arkhanhelske, Beryslav, Vesele, Novodmytrivka, Monastyrske, Tomina Balka, Kizomys, Komyshany, Stanislav, Sadove, Stepove, Odradokamianka, Zolota Balka, Chervonyi Maiak, Prydniprovske and Trudoliubivka. As a result of the Russian aggression 1 civilian was killed and 10 others sustained injuries. An agricultural farm, private houses, outbuildings and vehicles were damaged or destroyed. 

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, south-central Ukraine, the Russian army shelled the communities of Nikopol, Marhanets, Pokrovsk, Myrove and Chervonohryhorivka with artillery and UAVs. As a result of the shelling, one person was injured and a church, private homes, outbuildings, power lines and vehicles were destroyed or damaged.  

In the Mykolaiv region, south of Ukraine, Russia attacked the communities of Mykolaiv, Ochakiv and Kutsurub with artillery and UAVs. As a result of the Russian aggression, a child was injured in Ochakiv. A food processing plant and a transport vehicle were destroyed or damaged.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russians used UAVs, aircraft, MLRS, and artillery to strike Stepnohirsk, Kamianske, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, and Malynivka. In total, the Russians launched 326 attacks on nine settlements. As a result of the attacks, infrastructure and residential buildings were damaged or destroyed. No casualties were reported. 

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, Russian troops fired artillery, mortars and UAVs at settlements in the Novhorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka communities. There is no information on damage or casualties.

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, Russia conducted UAV, mortar, and artillery attacks on settlements in Mykolaivka, Krasnopillia, Esman, Bilopillia, Seredyna-Buda, and Okhtyrka. No casualties or damage were reported.

In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russian Army conducted artillery, aircraft, MLRS and UAV attacks on Nevske and Makiivka. No casualties or damage were reported.
