Russian attack in Odesa region leaves couple dead, one civilian wounded

On the night of September 15, Russia attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, one X-59 guided missile and 14 Shahed combat UAVs. The Air Force Command reported the downing of one X-59 missile and ten combat UAVs in the Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Poltava and Mykolaiv regions.

In the Odesa region, south of Ukraine, the Russian army shelled the Odesa district. Two civilians were killed and another wounded. Private houses were damaged as a result of the shelling.

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians shelled Kharkiv, Shyikivka, Pisky-Radkivsky, Podoly and Novoosynove. The shelling killed one civilian and wounded two others. A hospital, an educational institution, residential buildings, a shop, five outbuildings, a cafe and a truck were damaged. The shelling caused at least four fires in the open area.

The Russians carried out 275 attacks on settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022: Robotyne, Malynivka, Novoandriivka, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Lobkove, Piatykhatky, Rivnopillia, Verkhnia Tersa, Novopavlivka and Levadne. Three civilians were killed. The regional military administration received 15 reports of the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, south-central Ukraine, the Russians attacked the communities of Nikopol, Marhanets, Myrove, Zelenodolsk and Chervonohryhorivka. Three people were wounded in the shelling. An agricultural farm, a lyceum, ten private houses, 13 apartment buildings, a car wash, a bus, a car, three outbuildings and power lines were damaged.

In the Mykolaiv region, south of Ukraine, the Russians attacked the village of Kutsurub and the Mykolaiv district. The warehouses of a food company were damaged. There were no casualties.

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians fired 84 times at Sumy, Yunakivska, Velyka Pysarivka, Krasnopillia, Esman, Bilopilia, Druzhbivka, Nova Sloboda, Seredyna-Buda, Shalyhe, Khotin, Mykolaivka, Berezivka and Boromlianka communities. Two civilians were wounded.

In the Donetsk region, located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine and partially occupied since 2014, the Russian army shelled Hirnyk, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Novohryhorivka, Novoekonomichne, Tsukuryne, Shcherbynivka, Bohoiavlenka, Dalne, Kleban-Byk and Nove. One civilian was killed and three others were injured. Thirteen residential buildings, one company, some critical infrastructure facilities, one outbuilding, one car and one power plant were damaged.

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians shelled Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk communities. Border guards recorded ten explosions. There were no casualties.

In the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russian army shelled Kherson, Tomina Balka, Tiahynka, Antonivka, Beryslav, Stanislav, Veletenske, Kizomys, Poniativka, Novoraisk, Urozhaine, Novoberyslav, Stepne, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Zmiivka, Dudchany, Arkhangelske and Liubymivka. Two civilians were killed and seven others were wounded. The shelling damaged a critical infrastructure facility, educational and medical institutions, a factory, residential areas, two high-rise buildings, 22 private houses, a gas pipeline, an outbuilding, a warehouse and a private car.

In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians attacked Nevske and Makiivka with 73 drones. The regional military administration reports no casualties.
