Yevgeny Prigozhin claims to have allegedly taken control of the headquarters of Russia's Southern Military District in Rostov-on-Don

The owner of the Russian PMC Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that he allegedly controls the headquarters of the Russian Southern Military District in Rostov-on-Don.

He stated this in a video published by his press service.

The owner of the Wagner PMC also said that his company's mercenaries and loyal Russian military control military facilities in Rostov.

Photos circulated by Russian Telegram channels show tanks in the city. The editorial board of the online media Svidomi has not yet established whether these tanks are actually on a street in Rostov.

Also, on the night of 24 June, security measures were tightened in Moscow.

All state authorities and transport infrastructure facilities were taken under guard.

Earlier, Prigozhin called on Rosgvardiya soldiers to come over to his side.
