White House does not assess that the war is a stalemate

White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan does not believe that Russia's war against Ukraine is at a deadlock.

Jake Sullivan said this during a briefing.

Sullivan added that Ukraine continues to return territory "on a methodical, systematic basis." However, the adviser warned that he could not "predict how things will end up unfolding in the course of this war."

It will be recalled that on August 22, Ukrainian soldiers of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade entered the village of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

Earlier, The Washington Post, citing US intelligence, wrote that Ukraine would not be able to take control of Melitopol and break the land bridge between Russia and Qırım this year.
