Water levels are rising in Mykolaiv

The city's mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych reported that as of 15:00, the water level in Mykolaiv had risen by 77 cm in total.
The water level has risen significantly on the beaches of the Namyv, Korabelnyi, and Soliani districts, in the yacht club, and in some parts of Velyka Korenykha and Shyroka Balka.
As of 17:00, Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty Ukrainian bureau correspondents reported that the water continued to arrive rapidly.
Mykolaiv is located on the Southern Buh River, more than 100 kilometres from the destroyed Kakhovka HPP.
