Wagner PMC mercenaries who arrived in Belarus do not pose a threat to Ukraine yet
The State Border Guard Service believes that the mercenaries of the Wagner PMC who arrived in Belarus the day before do not pose a threat to Ukraine.
Andrii Demchenko, a spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, said this during a national telethon.
"This number (of mercenaries in Belarus — ed.) does not pose any threat to Ukraine to create an attack group. However, of course, Belarus can use them for more serious things. For example, to destabilise the situation on the border with Ukraine or other countries bordering Belarus," the spokesman said.
He added that Ukrainian intelligence is tracking separate groups of mercenaries in Belarus. Currently, the number of Wagner soldiers in the country is several hundred. They will be deployed in places that have been prepared for their arrival
