Volodymyr Zelenskyy signs decrees imposing sanctions against three categories of persons
Sanctions have been introduced against:
- Russians involved in the abduction of Ukrainian children;
- representatives of the Russian sports sphere who try to put sport at the service of aggression;
- those involved in the military mercenary structure in Russia.
The President of Ukraine summarized that this week was productive for international relations and held several meetings with foreign partners.
Zelenskyy also held a meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian TV marathon "Yedyni Novyny" ("United News").
"The reason for the meeting was the anniversary of the marathon and gratitude to everyone who works in it. But the content was much broader. We talked about strengthening the information work of our state and society. This especially applies to those parts of the world where our diplomacy has not been represented for many decades for various reasons," the President said.
The Head of state thanked the soldiers of the 110th Mechanized Brigade who shot down another Russian aircraft near Avdiivka.
