Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine was not involved in the downing of Prigozhin's plane

On August 24, the President denied Ukraine's involvement in the alleged death of the owner of the Wagner PMC. The idea of an alleged "Ukrainian terrorist attack" is being promoted by Russian propaganda.

Zelenskyy made this statement while speaking to journalists after a meeting with Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

"We have nothing to do with this. Everyone understands who is involved," the Ukrainian leader said, adding that Prigozhin's alleged death would help Ukraine.

It will be recalled that on August 23, a private jet with Yevgeny Prigozhin on board crashed in Russia.
