US imposes sanctions on companies linked to Iranian drone production

The United States has imposed sanctions on four entities and three individuals in Iran and Türkiye involved in the production of Iranian drones.

This is stated on the website of the US Department of the Treasury.

The restrictions were imposed because of the participation of certain companies and individuals in the purchase of equipment for Iranian drones, including European-origin engines.

The sanctions list includes the Defence Technology and Science Research Centre, its managers and procurement agents, Farazan Industrial Engineering Inc., and Selin Technic.
