US accuses the UN of concessions to Russia

The United States accuses UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres of "apparently caving in to Russian threats" by failing to send officials to Ukraine to inspect drones from Iran used by Russia.

The United Kingdom, the United States, Ukraine, Germany and France also noted that the supply of Iranian drones to Russia violates the 2015 UN Security Council resolution that enshrines the nuclear deal with Iran. The countries also demanded that Antonio Guterres send UN representatives to Kyiv to investigate.
