UN to send a special mission to the occupied left bank of the Kherson region if Russia provides security guarantees

This mission is necessary to deal with the aftermath of the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP. Ukraine has already provided such guarantees, but Russia has not yet responded.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, announced this on the telethon.
On June 8, Kuleba discussed the creation of such a mission with the UN coordinator in Ukraine, Denise Brown. The United Nations then asked Ukraine and Russia for security guarantees. Ukraine immediately gave an affirmative answer, but Russia has not yet responded.
The International Committee of the Red Cross has started working on the right bank of the Kherson region but has not discussed the issue of working on the left bank with the Foreign Ministry.
19 countries have already allocated humanitarian aid to Ukraine to overcome the consequences of the dam's destruction. The aid includes generators, water purification tablets, inflatable boats, and pumps.
