UN General Assembly adopts resolution condemning pseudo-referendums in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine

On October 12, the General Assembly condemned Russia's attempts to illegally annex the Ukrainian territories of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

143 countries supported the resolution, 5 — opposed, 35 states abstained.
