Ukrainian troops have advanced by 1.5 square kilometres in the area of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
A spokesman for the Joint Press Centre of the Tavriia Defence Task Forces, Oleksandr Shtupun, said this on the air of the national telethon.
Heavy fighting is currently taking place in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
"The Russians are clinging to every metre of our Ukrainian land... However, the Defence Forces are trying to make it as difficult as possible for the Russian army to get supplies, and in certain areas, it is paying off," he added.
