Ukrainian prosecutors have already interrogated two Russian ex-mercenaries of Wagner PMC who fled abroad
These former mercenaries are in the EU. At the same time, Ukrainian law enforcement officers have not yet interrogated Andrey Medvedev, who fled to Norway.
Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin wrote about this on his Facebook page.
The Prosecutor General's Office has served a notice of suspicion to the head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin. Kostin states that Ukraine will punish not only the heads of a private military company but also ordinary contractors. Ukrainian prosecutors interrogated two ex-mercenaries who fled to the EU.
At the same time, Ukrainian law enforcement has not yet sent a request for interrogation of Andrey Medvedev, a former mercenary who fled to Norway in early January 2023. Norway is not a member of the EU.
Kostin promised that Ukrainian law enforcement officers would soon send a request to Norway.
It will be recalled that on January 23, Norwegian police detained Medvedev. This was probably due to the fact that the former mercenary did not comply with the security rules established for him. The media claimed that Norway was planning to deport the Russian, but this was not true.
