Ukrainian Armed Forces deny information about advances on the left bank of the Kherson region

The Deputy Minister of Defence has denied information about the advance of Ukrainian troops on the left bank of the Kherson region.

Hanna Maliar said this on the air of a national telethon.

The Institute for the Study of War, based on statements by Russian propagandists and satellite data, claimed that the Ukrainian military had managed to cross the Dnipro. The Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly broke through the Russian defences and advanced 800 metres in the direction of Kozachi Laheri. 

Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Maliar denied this.

"The Armed Forces and the General Staff have not confirmed the information as of now, and we are asking everyone once again to trust only official sources. It is important to understand that any information related to the war zone is not just information, not just news, it can affect the course of hostilities. That is why everything provided by the General Staff and the Ministry of Defence is information that is safe for our combat operations," she said.
