Ukraine wins the quarter-finals of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship

The Ukrainian and French youth teams met for the first time in the quarter-finals. So far, the Ukrainian youth team has not lost but has played one game in a draw with the Spanish team.
The French opened the score in the 19th minute. Rayan Cherki sent the ball into the net.
After that, Ukrainian players scored three times: in the 32nd, 44th, and 86th minutes. Heorhii Sudakov scored twice, and Artem Bondarenko scored once. Thanks to this, the Ukrainian team won the match.
The match with Spain will take place on July 5. The previous Ukraine-Spain game tied 2-2.
In addition, thanks to this victory, the Ukrainian national team will be able to compete at the Olympics for the first time in 2024.
