Ukraine will continue to conduct operations in the temporarily occupied Crimea and on the territory of the Russian Federation

Kyiv, Ukraine (Svidomi) — The head of Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, says Ukraine will continue to attack Russian targets in the occupied Crimea and on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Budanov believes that Putin's regime in Russia will not "collapse naturally". He believes that a stable regime in Russia is a threat to Ukraine and the world, so Ukraine will continue to conduct operations in Russia.

He announced new strikes on Russian military targets in the temporarily occupied Crimea. He recommended that civilians not use the so-called "Crimean Bridge", an illegal bridge that Russians built in 2018 to connect the temporarily occupied Crimea with the territory of the Russian Federation. Russians use this bridge to transfer equipment to the southern frontline in Ukraine.

"The Crimean Bridge has been targeted several times by Ukrainian special forces. In October 2022, after an explosion on the bridge, railway wagons with fuel caught fire, and two spans of the road part of the bridge partially collapsed.

Following the explosion on the night of July 17, one span of the bridge was destroyed and another damaged.
