Ukraine returns three more children to government-controlled territory

Ukraine has returned three more children from the temporarily occupied Kherson region to the government-controlled territory.

This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of TOT.

Ten-year-old Oleksandr, eight-year-old Daryna and six-year-old Yakiv returned from the occupation.

At the beginning of the occupation of Kherson, their parents sent them to the village to their grandmother, hoping for their safety. Then Kherson was liberated, and the grandmother and her grandchildren remained in the temporarily occupied territory. As the Russians blew up the Antonivskyi Bridge, it became impossible to take the children back.

Also last week, nine-year-old Nadiika and her 14-year-old brother Mykhailo returned to their parents.

They had been in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region for 19 months. On the eve of the full-scale invasion, the children went to visit their grandparents, and after February 24, they found themselves under occupation.

It will be recalled that on October 16, Ukraine returned four children who had been illegally deported to Russia.
