Ukraine returns another child from Russia

Ukraine has returned a six-year-old child whom Russians illegally took to their country.

Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, reported this.

The six-year-old girl's parents were in the military, they were captured by Russians in Mariupol.

After returning from captivity, the child's mother turned to the Ombudsman's Office with a request to facilitate the girl's return.

"Thanks to the cooperation between the Russian and Ukrainian Ombudsmen and the staff of the Ukrainian Ombudsman's Office, we managed to bring the little Ukrainian girl back home," Lubinets said.

Today, the child's entire family is back in Ukraine.
