Ukraine returns 116 people from Russian captivity — the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andrii Yermak

Among them are defenders of Mariupol, Kherson partisans, and snipers from the Bakhmut direction. 

Eighty-seven servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were returned from captivity, two of them from the Special Operations Forces. Eight members of the Territorial Defence of Ukraine, seven National Guard members, six representatives of the National Police, five border guards, two Navy members, and one State Emergency Service member were also released. 

The bodies of fallen foreign volunteers Christopher Matthew Perry and Andrew Tobias Matthew were also recovered, as well as the body of a fallen Ukrainian, Yevhen Kulyk, who served in the French Foreign Legion but returned to defend Ukraine after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion.
