Ukraine exports more than one million tonnes of grain, crops, iron and other goods via the Black Sea humanitarian corridor

Since the launch of the temporary Black Sea Humanitarian Corridor, Ukraine has imported over one million tonnes of goods, including grain, iron and other cargo.

US Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, reported.

"Russia’s cruelty will not prevent Ukraine from feeding the world and increasing exports. We’re counting 33 ships through so far!"

It will be recalled that Russia withdrew from the grain deal on July 17, 2023. Temporary routes for civilian vessels to and from the Black Sea ports of Ukraine came into effect on August 8, 2023.

On September 16, the first two civilian vessels used the alternative grain route to enter Ukrainian ports.
