Ukraine attacks Russian Black Sea Fleet ship Novocherkask near temporarily occupied Feodosiia

The Air Force of Ukraine attacked a large landing ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet Novocherkask near Feodosiia (Kefe), located in the southeast of the temporarily occupied Crimea (Qırım).

The press service of the Ukrainian Air Force reports.

"This time, following the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the cruiser Moskva, a large landing ship Novocherkask is heading," wrote the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk.

The damage was confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defence.

"Last night... a large landing ship Novocherkask was damaged at the Feodosiia base," the Russian ministry said in a statement.

First explosions in the port of Feodosiia were heard after 2a.m. This was reported by locals, according to the Krymskyi Viter Telegram channel.

A fire broke out on the ship. And after a while, the detonation began, probably due to the ammunition that was on the ship.

According to the so-called "head" of the temporarily occupied Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, one person died in Feodosiia and two were injured.
