UK trains Ukrainian engineers to defend critical infrastructure from Russian attacks

Specialists from the Royal Engineers of the UK Armed Forces have conducted training for Ukrainian specialists.
The UK Ministry of Defence reported.
The training will improve Ukraine's ability to plan for the defence of critical infrastructure against such attacks. Engineers are taught how to identify the most vulnerable elements of energy facilities, potential blast ranges, and where best to locate physical and aerial barriers.
"The two-week training package was developed and delivered following a request from Ukraine to improve the protection of its energy sector further and has already progressed in complexity from earlier courses," the statement said.
It will be recalled that earlier, British Ambassador Martin Harris said that the UK plans to train more than 30,000 Ukrainian military personnel by the end of 2023.
