"To all those who give Ukraine independence" - President in his Independence Day greetings
Independence, the President stressed, is a value for which each of us is fighting.
"In a great war, there are no small things, no unnecessary things, no unimportant things. This applies to people, actions and words," Zelenskyy said.
The President of Ukraine thanked the Ukrainian soldiers, their parents and everyone who is waiting for their loved ones from the front.
"To those who pray for them every day. Who calls or writes such an important "How are you?" to hear the much-desired "Everything is fine", such a valuable "I love you, our son took the first step yesterday, our daughter said the first words today," Zelenskyy said.
The President of Ukraine thanked Ukrainian mothers who went abroad with their children and continue to teach them Ukrainian.
"All Ukrainians are important, wherever you happen to be," Zelenskyy said.
The President of Ukraine emphasised the important work of those who provide communications, teachers who work online and even in places where schools have been destroyed, journalists who spread the truth about Ukraine and this war, athletes and musicians.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked everyone who clears the fields of mines, sows them, harvests them and delivers bread and grain to other countries, doctors, combat medics, nurses and nurses who "do not let go of life and fight for it".
Zelenskyy thanked the power engineers who worked despite the alarms, shelling and danger.
"There are families who will never see their son, brother, father come home. An electrician, a repair team member, a rescuer, a policeman, a firefighter. All those who died in the line of duty," the President said.
The President of Ukraine thanked everyone who cannot be named yet, everyone who is carrying out the most difficult operations at the battlefield.

Zelenskyy also spoke about the volunteers who "support the fire of volunteerism of sincere Ukrainian unity".

Those who have waited and those who will wait for Ukraine. Those who survived captivity, those who had their freedom taken away, but not their will. Those who have not lost Ukraine in themselves," the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked everyone who returned and continues to fight and all those who will return.
