Three civilians are killed and 12 others are wounded by Russian shelling in the Donetsk region
In the morning, Russian troops attacked Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, with X-47M2 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missiles. All targets were destroyed, but debris fell in some parts of the city. During the day, Russians also fired at several regions of Ukraine with Shahed-type combat UAVs.
In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, the Russian army shelled Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Mykolaivka, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, Bilenke, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Shevchenko, Izmailivka, Illinka, Osykovo, Serebrianka, Sontsivka, Shakhove, Shakhtarske and Yurkivka. Three civilians were killed and 12 injured, including a child. Fifty residential buildings, shops, a medical facility, four administrative buildings, a café, a shop, a trade pavilion, outbuildings, cars and communications were damaged.
The Russians launched Kinzhals at the Kyiv region, bordering Russia to the north. As a result of the falling debris, the roof of a multi-storey residential building, the territory of a school and a car were damaged in Solomianskyi, Holosiivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kyiv. No casualties were reported.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians fired 18 times at the communities of Sumy, Mykolaivka, Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Putivl, Shalyhyne and Berezivka. Four people were injured, including a child.
The Russians fired 383 times at settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022: Novoiakovlivka, Kamianske, Shcherbaky, Novodarivka, Poltavka, Levadne, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Orikhove and Preobrazhenka. One person was injured. There were 10 reports of residential buildings and infrastructure destroyed.
In the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russian army shelled Kherson, Antonivka, Honcharne, Shyroka Balka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Kizomys, Zelenivka, Sadove, Novovorontsovka, Mylove, Zelenivka, Olhivka, Poniativka and Prydniprovske. One civilian was killed and five wounded. The shelling damaged a critical infrastructure facility, residential areas, a multi-storey building, 25 private houses, a gas pipeline, a garage, a bus and private cars.
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians attacked Kharkiv, Zolochiv, Mytrofanivka, Mala Danylivka, Cherkaska Lozova, Cherkaski Tyshky, Ivashky, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Kupiansk and Pershotravneve. One civilian was killed and seven others injured, including a 16-year-old teenager. Six private houses, a car, outbuildings and a power line were damaged. The shelling caused four fires in the open countryside.
Russians attacked the Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih districts and Synelnykove in the Dnipropetrovsk region, south-central Ukraine. Three people were wounded in the shelling. An enterprise, a farm, five private houses, a multi-storey building, three cottages, a bus stop, power lines, a car, a shed, a tractor-trailer, a gas pipeline and solar panels were damaged. A fire broke out in the open.
In the Mykolaiv region, south of Ukraine, the Russians attacked Lupareve and Dmytrivka. Three private houses were damaged. The regional military administration reported no casualties.
In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians attacked Bilohorivka, Balka Zhuravka and Hrekivka with artillery and 42 drones. The regional military administration reported no casualties.
