The USA may extend part of the sanctions against the Russian Federation after the end of the war

At the same time, any peace agreement will include a review of the sanctions imposed by the US and its allies on the Russian economy, according to US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.

“We would probably feel, given what’s happened, that probably some sanctions should stay in place,” she said.
