The Ukrainian police exhumed the first 20 bodies in de-occupied Lyman

The National Police reported it.

Excavations are ongoing at two locations: according to preliminary information, about 200 civilians are buried in one of them, and the other is a "mass grave" of servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Civilians were buried in single graves, military personnel was buried in a 40-meter-long trench. According to the witness, Russian troops forced him to bury the bodies of about 20 Ukrainian soldiers in a trench.

In total, since September 29, the police found 87 bodies in the liberated settlements of the Donetsk region, of which 38 civilians have already been identified. According to preliminary estimates, most people died from shrapnel wounds or natural causes. There are also victims with gunshot injuries.
