The Russians are trying to force the political prisoner Volodymyr Yakymenko to take part in the war against Ukraine — activist's wife Olena Yakymenko
According to her, the Russians, who are looking for volunteers to participate in the war, are coming for the second time to the colony where Yakymenko is being held illegally. Previously, the activist was "locked up", however, this time he was forced to listen to calls to kill Ukrainians.
The colony employees forced the political prisoner to leave the barracks, but he managed to stay there. Yakymenko was threatened to be taken away together with other prisoners next time.
Volodymyr Yakymenko is an activist of Automaidan. After the occupation of Crimea in 2014, he transported Crimeans to other regions of Ukraine. The Russians detained him upon entering the peninsula and accused him of drug trafficking.
