The Russian army blows up boats in the Dnipro piers, which creates an environmental threat in the Kherson region
Yaroslav Yanushevych, Head of the Kherson Regional Environmental Agency, notes that due to the explosion of boats and vessels, up to 10 tons of fuel and lubricants got into the Dnipro River. The substances are carried by the current to the Dnipro delta, towards the National Nature Park "Nyzhniodniprovskyi" protected area.
"This can lead to the destruction of river flora and fauna, as well as the poisoning of the area for decades," the head of the UIA emphasizes.
