The President of Moldova received materials from Ukraine containing logistics documentation for the organization of Russian sabotage in the country

Maia Sandu confirmed that the Ukrainian side had handed her Russia's plans to destabilize the situation in Moldova.

"This is a short-term plan that involves sabotage involving persons with military training disguised as civilians. They are planning violent actions, including attacks on some state institutions and taking hostages," said Maia Sandu.

According to her, this "plan involves the use of people from outside the country for violent actions in Moldova." Sandu also said that an attempt to seize power in Chișinău is being prepared under the guise of peaceful protests.

It will be recalled that Oleksii Danilov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, said that Chechen militants who arrived in Türkiye as "rescuers" may try to get into Moldova.

Also, on February 9, 2023, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he had handed over the intercepted Russian plan to destabilize Moldova to the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu.
