There were ten people on board the helicopter: three crew members, Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyi, First Deputy Minister Yevhen Yenin, State Secretary of the Interior Ministry Yurii Lubkovych, Deputy Head of the Patronage Service Tetiana Shutiak, two of the minister bodyguards, Mykhailo Pavlushko and Andrii Marynchenko, and photographer Mykola Anatskyi. The crew members were Oleksandr Vasylenko, Konstiantyn Kovalenko, and Ivan Kasianov. All of them died.
As of January 19, the police interviewed more than two thousand people who might have witnessed the plane crash in Brovary. It is known that 14 people died in the crash, including one child. Another 25 people were injured, 11 of them children.
