The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine tracks down a man denied access to a Wizz Air flight in Tel Aviv
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has tracked down a Ukrainian man who was denied access to a Wizz Air flight in Tel Aviv the day before.
This was reported by Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleh Nikolenko.
The man's name is Oleksandr, and he has never served in the Armed Forces.
Oleksandr suffered a disability in an accident.
The Ukrainian consul in Israel helped him board a flight to Europe, from where he would go to Ukraine.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs believes that Wizz Air has violated the rights of a Ukrainian citizen and is waiting for the official investigation to be completed, for the perpetrators to be brought to justice and for the airline to fulfil its obligations to the passenger.
As a reminder, Hungarian airline Wizz Air has issued an apology for removing a Ukrainian soldier with a prosthetic limb from a Tel Aviv to Warsaw flight.
