There are constant power outages in Melitopol. It causes problems with water supply and communication. There is also no gas in the city, which makes it impossible to start the heating season.
Because of this, people are trying to leave the temporarily occupied city. According to Fedorov, four thousand residents are waiting in line at the Russian checkpoint to leave for the territory controlled by Ukraine, while the Russians let out only 20-30 people a day.
