The first trucks transported by rail through the blockade of the Polish-Ukrainian border are already in Poland

The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia reports.

Ukraine and Poland have previously agreed on all issues related to transportation and customs and border procedures.

"To order the transportation of a truck by a container train from Ukraine, you need to contact the Lisky Transport Service Centre of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC, and in the opposite direction — UZ Cargo Poland," the statement said.

It will be recalled that the Ukrainian railway company Ukrzaliznytsia has organised the transport of trucks by a container train from Ukraine to Poland.

The train runs from Sknyliv (Ukraine) to Sławków (Poland).

The decision was made in response to the ongoing blockade of the border with Ukraine by Polish carriers. As of December 8, approximately 3,300 trucks were waiting in a queue to cross the border in Poland.
