The EU approved the ninth package of sanctions against Russia

The new package includes restrictions on about 200 individuals and organizations involved in child abduction and attacks on civilians.

Also, the ninth package focuses on technology, finance, and mass media to "push the Russian economy and war machine further off the rails."
