The documentary film about Ukraine was selected for the shortlist of the European Film Academy
"A House Made of Splinters" is a film about children from difficult families who ended up in an asylum during the war. They spend nine months there, and then either return to their parents, or end up in a boarding school or a foster family.
The film produced by Ukraine, Denmark, Sweden and Finland was financed by State Cinema of Ukraine. The film was directed by Simon Lereng Wilmont.
