The crime situation in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea has worsened since the beginning of 2023

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the reason was the emergence of ex-prisoners who fought as part of the so-called Wagner PMC and were amnestied after the end of their contract. 

In particular, if they are detained for crimes, they are sent to the front line instead of correctional facilities.
