Son of the nephew of former US President John F. Kennedy secretly fought in Ukraine against Russia

Conor Kennedy noted that he was "deeply moved" by what he saw in Ukraine.

"When I heard about the International Legion, I knew I was going to go, and the next day I went to the embassy," said Conor Kennedy.

He noted that he did not tell anyone his real name because he did not want his family and friends to worry and did not want to be treated "differently" there.

Kennedy added that he had no military experience but "learned quickly" and was "sent to the northeastern front".
