In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east, Russians shelled Kupiansk, Kharkiv, Vovchansk, Chuhuiv, Bohuslavka, Kolisnykivka, Hrafske, and the Derhachiv and Malodanylivka communities. One person was killed. Another 13 people were injured.

In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline in the east, Russians fired on Lyman, Chasiv Yar, Velyka Novosilka, Zhovte, Karlivka, and Katerynivka. Two people were killed. Twenty civilian objects were damaged, including 14 residential buildings and cars.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops conducted 53 attacks in the Sumy region, bordering Russia in the north of Ukraine. The Khotin, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda, Esman, Shalyhyne, Druzhba, Seredina Buda, Znob- Novhorod communities came under attack. One person was killed and another was injured.

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, Russians shelled eight villages in four border communities: the Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Snovske and Horodnianka. The shelling caused two houses to catch fire.

On May 15, the Russians launched a missile attack on Mykolaiv in the south of Ukraine. A fire broke out as a result of a hit to a civilian infrastructure facility. The blast wave damaged the windows, roof and facade of a multi-storey building, a shop, car dealerships and private cars. Six people were injured. The Russian army also conducted an artillery strike on the Kutsurub community. There were no casualties.

In the Kherson region, partially occupied since 2022, Mykhailivka, Antonivka, Stanislav and Kherson came under Russian attack. 12 multi-storey buildings and 11 private houses were damaged. A medical facility, a kindergarten and an administrative building were hit. An outbuilding and nine private cars were damaged. 19 people were injured.

In the last 24 hours, Russians targeted the Nikopol, next to the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, where Zaporizhzhia NPP is located. Also, the Chervonohryhorivka, Myrove and Marhanets communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region in southcentral Ukraine is one of the most important industrial regions of the country. Four private houses, a sports club, a minibus, a truck, a gas pipeline and a power line were damaged. In Dnipro, two people were killed and another injured when a Russian missile fell. The attack damaged an infrastructure facility, an administrative building, an animal shelter, five- and two-storey buildings, six private houses, two utility buildings, a car, and a power line. Several fires broke out. 

In the Zaporizhzhia region, which has been partially occupied in the south since 2022, Russians shelled seven settlements 260 times. Two men and a woman were wounded in an attack on the Vasylivskyi district. There are five reports of residential buildings being destroyed.
