Six people died as a result of Russian shelling over the past day. Another 23 got injured

Air defence systems shot down six Shahed drones overnight in the Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. The Russians also fired two Iskander-M ballistic missiles in the Sumy region. One person was injured there. 

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army fired 41 times at the border areas in the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north. The communities of Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Shalyhyne, Nova Sloboda, Krolevets and Seredyna-Buda were shelled. The military recorded 136 explosions. 

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians struck Hlushivka, Slatyne, Odnorobivka, and Kozacha Lopan. One person was killed. Five others were injured. Private houses, a garage and an outbuilding were damaged. 

Police officers recorded 2,595 hostile attacks in the Donetsk region, which has been partially occupied since 2014 and is located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine. Kurakhove, Myrnohrad, Selydove, Toretsk, Hostre, Novoekonomichne, the village of New York, Berestky, Dalne, Novoocheretuvate, Ozerne and Trudove came under fire. Two people were killed, and another was injured. Sixteen residential buildings, a cinema, and cars were damaged.

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians attacked villages in the communities of Semenivka, Horodnia and Snovsk. Border guards recorded 37 explosions. There were no casualties. 

In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, the Russian army attacked Voznesensk. A missile hit the territory of the town. One person was killed, and eight others were injured. A fire broke out in the warehouse at the site of the attack. The blast wave also damaged seven residential buildings, an office building, an agricultural hangar and four cars. The Russians also attacked the Kutsurub community. There were no casualties. 

In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russian army shelled Novokairy, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Novodmitrivka, Urozhaine, Fedorivka, Inhulets, Beryslav, Yasna Poliana, Chornobaivka, Tomyna Balka, Kizomys, Poniativka, Tiahynka, Tokarivka, Novovoznesensk, Havrylivka, Urozhaine, Antonivka, Olhivka and Kherson. The Russian military hit a critical infrastructure facility, an administrative building, agricultural enterprises, and residential areas of the region's settlements, including a multi-storey building and 14 private houses. A warehouse, an outbuilding and cars were damaged. One person was killed, and two others were injured.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region in southcentral Ukraine, the Russians attacked Nikopol. One person was killed, and five others were injured, including a 13-year-old boy. Transport, utilities, two agricultural enterprises, 23 private houses, six outbuildings, greenhouses, gas pipelines and power lines were damaged. 

Over the past 24 hours, the Russians fired 404 times at 12 localities in the Zaporizhzhia region in the south, partially occupied in the south since 2022. One person was wounded. There were 12 reports of the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure.
