The company "SpaceKnow" detailedly analysed satellite images of the leakage area. It stated that the ships ranging from 95 to 130 meters long, were the only ones of 25 other vessels that tried to hide their presence in the area. The ships passed within a few miles of the Nord Stream 2 leaks.

The information was passed on to NATO officials investigating the pipeline incidents. In return, NATO representatives sent a request for more detailed information.
