Seven people killed and 21 wounded in the Russian attack on the Factor-Druk printing house
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians attacked Kharkiv, Kurylika, Ridkodub, Riasne, Derhachi, Prykolotne, Liubotyn, Zolochiv and Kindrashivka. In Kindrashivka, one person was killed, and two were wounded. In Liubotyn, ten people were wounded. In Prykolotne, one person was wounded. And in Riasne, an 11-year-old boy was wounded.
In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians attacked Novoliubivka, Nevske, Stelmakhivka, Kuzemivka, Makiivka, Andriivka, Serhiivka and Bilohorivka. Private houses and outbuildings were damaged.
In the Donetsk region, which has been partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, the Russians fired 2,310 times over the last day. Nine settlements came under attack: Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Lyman, Selydove, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, and the villages of Hostre, Kurakhivka, and New York. Fifty-seven civilian objects were destroyed: 50 residential buildings, an enterprise, a healthcare facility, a garage, an outbuilding, and gas pipelines. Two people were injured.
Over the past day, the Russians attacked settlements and communities in the Sumy region in the north of Ukraine, bordering Russia, 30 times. Communities in Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Druzhba, and Seredyna-Buda were shelled. No casualties were reported.
On May 23, Russians fired mortars at two border communities in the Chernihiv region bordering Belarus and Russia to the north: Semenivka and Snovsk. The military recorded 46 explosions. There were no casualties.
In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, the Ochakiv community came under artillery attack. There were no casualties.
In the Kherson region, which has been partially occupied since 2022, the Russians attacked Zolota Balka, Lvove, Osokorivka, Tiahynka, Inzhenerne, Ivanivka, Veletenske, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Mykilske, Novotianka, Prydniprovske and Kherson. 11 private houses were damaged, and a cultural institution was hit. There were no casualties.
On May 23, the Russians attacked Nikopol, the communities of Myrove and Pokrovsk. There were no casualties. A fire station, a dormitory and an agricultural company were damaged. The Russian army fired a missile at the Dnipro district. A fire broke out. There were no casualties. On the night of May 24, Russians attacked Nikopol and the Marhanets community again. A four-storey building, a shop, a minibus and a car were damaged. Two people were injured.
Russians struck the Zaporizhzhia region, which has been partially occupied in the south since 2022, 376 times. Eight settlements came under attack. There are 22 reports of residential destruction.
