Russians took about 15 thousand exhibits from cultural institutions of Kherson — the Center of National Resistance

In particular, they illegally appropriated the property of the Kherson Art Museum, named after Oleksii Shovkunenko. The museum's permanent exhibition included icon writing of the XVII - early XX centuries and Ukrainian art of the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries. Works of contemporary artists are also presented.
The Russians took the exhibits to the temporarily occupied Simferopol using four trucks.
