Russians shelled a multi-storey building in Kherson last night
The Russian army shelled a residential building in Kherson on the night of August 7.
The Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported this.
The shelling caused a fire. Eight residents were wounded. One person was hospitalised.
"It was a difficult night for Kherson. The Russian army continued to shell the houses of Kherson residents in the central part of the city," commented Prokudin.
According to the State Emergency Service, the facade of a nine-storey building from the first to the fifth floor caught fire.
Two rescuers got overheated during the firefighting operations and were taken to hospital.
Later, Russia continued shelling the city. As a result of the second attack, a 59-year-old woman was killed, and two other people were injured.
