Russians shell Kharkiv's office of Fondation Suisse de Déminage, a humanitarian demining organisation
Overnight, the Russian army launched 23 Shahed attack drones and missiles at Ukraine. Air defences downed 17 attack drones, most of them in the Odesa region.
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians attacked Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Bohodukhiv and Lisne. In Kharkiv, Russians shelled the office of the Fondation Suisse de Déminage FSD, a Swiss NGO specialising in mine action. The building, the organisation's vehicles and a private house were damaged. In Lisne, Russians shelled an eco-park, damaging stables. Two people were injured.
In the Donetsk region, located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine and partially occupied since 2014, the Russians shelled Hirnyk, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Lyman, Zoria, Marynivka and Sontsivka 2,682 times. 29 residential buildings, a shop and cars were damaged. Six people were injured. Three people died in the shelling of Lyman.
In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians shelled Nevske and Makiivka 87 times with artillery and attack drones. Private homes were destroyed. The regional military administration reports no casualties.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, south-central Ukraine, the Russians shelled Nikopol, next to the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, where Zaporizhzhia NPP is located, and the village of Marhanets. Private houses, power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged. The regional military administration reported no casualties.
In the Zaporizhzhia region in the south, partially occupied since 2022, the Russians shelled Kamianske, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Robotyne, Novodanylivka, Malynivka and Novoandriivka 406 times. Four private homes were destroyed. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties.
In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, the Russian army launched a rocket attack on the Voznesenskyi district. As a result of the shelling, dry grass in a field caught fire. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties.
In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russians shelled Prydniprovske, Stanislav, Bilozerka, Pryozerne, Chornobaiivka, Antonivka, Sadove, Poniativka, Mykilske, Chaikyne, Burhunka, Krupytsia, Havrylivka, Kachkarivka and Kherson. 12 private houses and private cars were damaged. Two people sustained injuries. One person was killed in Kherson.
In the Odesa region in the south of Ukraine, Russians fired Shahed drones at Izmail. The port infrastructure and an apartment building were damaged. Three people were injured.
In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians shelled Snovske and Semenivka communities. No casualties were reported.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians fired at the Mykolaivka, Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Druzhbivka, Shalyhyne, Miropillia and Seredyno-Budsk communities with mortars, attack drones and artillery. One person sustained injuries.
